The mustangs on the Ranch have gradually come to accept and trust us as part of their herd. That will be evident if you visit us at the Ranch. Each horse is known to us as an individual. Their names, relatives and history are often known as well. Each has a unique personality and family bonds. Bonita and Acera provide one good example ...

The Mustang’s part in Western history has been a difficult road. It bred into them a toughness and intelligence no breeding program could produce. For them, like the local people, it was the struggle to survive that forged their character. We are glad to be among them both.

Sandi Claypool of Monero Mustangs flew up to Lovell, Wyoming on Sept 26th to attend the Pryor Mountain wild horse adoption. Working with the Pryor Mountain Wild Mustang Center, that led to Stiles being adopted by Monero Mustangs.

Stiles stepped off the trailer after his trip from Wyoming and he has adjuste well. He has a great disposition and is a pleasure to be around. He is getting acclimated to his new environment.

Soon Stiles will be released into the larger Yellow Hills Ranch property. He will have nearly 5,000 acres to roam where he can live out his life running free as he has since his birth. More information about the Pryor Mountain Wild Mustang Center and the their story.
