We are happy when people want to help, and volunteers are showing up. The horses are a joy to be around and there is a lot to learn. Getting to know the Mustangs presents a unique opportunity and there is always daily ranch work that brings you in contact with them.

We are exploring managed grazing methods that include the horses, recording the herd behavior of Mustangs in a natural environment, and doing research and planning for a breeding program (including birth control) to strengthen and preserve their unique bloodline.

We like to network with others interested in these subjects to promote our research and rescue efforts. Let us know if you think you can assist. Send us an email.

We are working on our sponsor’s program.  Please check back, or email us if you have a suggestion.

Money is also used for rescue animals from the Forest Services or elsewhere. That includes some cases where a horse needs special care. We give it to them if we can. One example of a horse that needs help is “Cedro”.  Cedro is a red roan with a silver mane and he is 4 to 5 years old.  He was crippled when he was only a colt.  More on his story.....

Little Cedro’s page coming soon.
