We are happy to have people come tour the Sanctuary and spend the day observing the wild mustangs in their natural environment. Sharing our knowledge about these unique horses is our passion and we encourage you to come see them for yourself. On a typical visit to Monero Mustangs, a guide will take visitors around the ranch to see the horses in their favorite places on the land and explain the history and the stories of each of the mustang families.
We will provide sandwiches, snacks and cold drinks. No alcohol is allowed on the ranch.
At this time, we are limited on the amount of people we can take because of vehicles to transport people, however if you come in your own SUV or vehicle that has higher clearance and 4-wheel drive, you are welcome to follow our guide in your own vehicle. Many photographers prefer this so that they can bring their gear along with them. All visitors will need to sign a liability waiver when they come to the ranch.
We do need some advance notice of at least a day or so - preferably a couple of days. The fee for touring the Sanctuary is $100 for adults and $75 for children. Proceeds from the tours go to help feed the horses for the winter. There are very few places left that people can go to view horses living wild, and one of our goals is to keep this possibility open to the public.
Tours of the Monero Mustangs Sanctuary are by appointment only - please don’t stop by without notice. To arrange a visit to the Monero Mustangs Sanctuary, please contact Sandi by email at sandi@moneromustangs.org.
